B. Frank’s Greatest Hits

By now you’ve heard the news that newly retired Massachusetts House Representative Barney Frank has asked Gov. Deval Patrick (D) if he could (temporarily and just until a special election is held) fill United States Senator John Kerry’s seat after his current term ends and Sen. Kerry begin the process of becoming our next Secretary of State.

Barney Frank will be remembered for the many bills and many battles he willing engaged to ensure that the queer among us are treated equally under the law. Frank would become the second out gay United States Senator in American history, next to newly elected Sen. Tammy Baldwin.

That said, I like him for a different reason.

With his frumpy stature, his ‘what?-me-use-a-comb?’ flowbee test-subject hairstyle and clothes that always looked like they were fitted for someone else, Barney Frank could drop the rhetorical hammer like few others.

Thus, enjoy the following - an unoffcial collection of Barney Franks Greatest Hits.

Clip #1: Barney Frank, live on Real Time with Bill Mayer (2009), discusses the hypocrisy of the family values party whose “do as we say, not as we do” modus operandi found itself exposed yet again thanks to the stance of one Larry Craig.

Clip #2: In this famous clip Frank in not so many words tells some woman with an “Obama is Hitler” argument to stick it up her ass.

Clip #3: Some intern from a local television station must have been put up to this because you can totally envision the hysterics back at the station as they watch this shmoe actually ask Frank about showering with gay people.

Clip #4: I know about as much about the rules of parliamentary procedure as I know about the rules of cricket. And I care about as much too. Apparently, Frank knows a thing or two, however. Watch as he serves Representative Dumb Schmuck from the great state of Doucheington his lunch.

Clip #5: Finally, Barney Frank reveals the truth behind the radical homosexual agenda he’s been secretly pushing for so many years. With Pelosi as Speaker, the time was apparently right to reveal all.
