A Joyful Noise, released on May 22, by Gossip is serving up the punk/pop/dance anthems for the summer! Even though this album is a little more produced then their previous ones, they still manage to hold on to their gritty edge and you are compelled to get off your ass and shake the hell out of it.

Beth Ditto’s all encompassing voice is a major part of what drives this album. Her voice can soar as much as it can kick you in the gut. It is that combination that makes this album so thrilling.

There is also a kitschy use of early 90s production woven into their sonic fabric in Get Lost and Horns Other stand out songs: Melody Emergency, Perfect World, Casualties of War, and Move in the Right Direction
